During final preparations for the A Level Drama written exam, students have been using the Department’s ‘stage in a box’ resource to create set and lighting designs for their set texts.
Students considered use of space, levels, lighting angles and colour to create the desired atmosphere for each scene. This was an interactive and fun way to revise, whilst having discussions about the messages of the play and how these can be communicated through design elements.
