SENIOR SCHOOL NEWS Charity

Here at St Edward’s, we do our very best to support our local community, especially those who may need some extra support during the Festive period.

Our Charity Prefects have been working especially hard to implement several fundraising initiatives during this time- with great success!

Our school community has taken part in a range of activities to raise funds including:

  • Making donations to the Catholic International Development Fund in exchange for wearing their Christmas Jumpers to School.
  • The whole school made donations of unwanted gifts to the German Christmas Market and Year 7 had lots of fun picking up some shopping. The money raised was donated to Sue Ryder.
  • A minibus full of food from both staff and students was donated to the Hamper Scamper initiative, providing seasonal food parcels and children’s gifts to those in need.
  • A donation of over 50 boxes to the T4U shoebox appeal, providing parcels to vulnerable children across Eastern Europe.

A big thank you to all our students, staff and families for your involvement in these activities – your support is much appreciated!
