As a non-selective, inclusive school, we focus on early identification of learning challenges so that support can be tailored to individual needs from the very start.

Support is provided in a variety of ways, including:
- 1:1 Specialist Tuition – targeted literacy, numeracy, or study skills support
- Small-Group Interventions – focusing on specific needs
- Personalised Learning Plans – adapting the curriculum to individual strengths
- Specialist Literacy Software – such as Texthelp Read & Write for reading, writing, and spelling support
All classrooms are Dyslexia-friendly
Specialist instruction is explicit, structured, and intensive, helping learners master reading, spelling, and writing.
Exam Access Arrangements, including:
- Extra time
- Reader or scribe support
- Use of a word processor or assistive technology
Social Skills Support
Addressing friendships, self-regulation, empathy, conflict management, and communication
Close collaboration with the Wellbeing Team, ensuring wrap-around care for both academic and social development
