About the Role and You
- This is a zero hours contract, to commence as soon as possible.
- This is a term-time only position of 34 weeks a year.
- Salary is £12.50 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay.
- Possess a full, clean UK Driving Licence D1 essential (NFHR).
- Be aged between 23 and 70 (Insurance requirement).
- Be willing to attend and pass a minibus driving assessment test/MiDAS.
- Be willing to complete and pass the Disclosure and Barring Service vetting process.
Purpose of the role:
- Driving Ashley Manor Preparatory School and St Edward’s Senior School minibuses, as required.
- Carrying out pre and post journey driver’s vehicle checks.
- Carrying out minor maintenance checks such as checking/topping up oil, changing bulbs etc.
- Keeping the vehicle clean and tidy inside and outside.
- Assisting and supervising passengers as necessary.
- Assisting other St Edward’s staff as required.
