After a disrupted academic year and the additional stress that COVID-19 has brought, Year 10 were treated to a post-internal-exam ‘Activity Day’ at the Cotswold Water Park this week.
The day was an excellent way for Year 10 to relax and enjoy themselves at the end of a very busy term.
Student Hugo B (Year 10) writes:
Who would have thought that a man made beach could be so realistic that you almost forgot that you were in the Cotswolds!
At Cotswold Water Park the water was natural not heated and full of seaweed which we didn’t expect at first. Friendly young staff made us feel at home and safe for a free swim session. Energy and exercise held back the cold.
Ice creams were followed by the main event, the Wibit is a huge inflatable assault course on water which makes it twice as hard to navigate! Food was great with burgers and hot dogs plentiful. Year 10 had an awesome time! Exhausted we returned to School, many of us falling asleep on the coach!
Well done Year 10, well deserved.
