From 9 Months to 18 Years.

A warm welcome to families from Rendcomb College. We understand that the closure of Rendcomb College will bring uncertainty for families, pupils and staff as you consider your next steps. At such a time, reassurance, clarity and kindness matter.

St Edward’s School Cheltenham, together with Ashley Manor Preparatory School, forms the St Edward’s Family, offering a joined-up independent education from 9 months to 18 years.

From the early years through to GCSEs and A Levelsour focus is on strong pastoral care, academic ambition and smooth, well-planned transitions, within a calm environment where every child is known, supported and able to thrive.

Both Ashley Manor Preparatory School and St Edward’s School Cheltenham are located just 13 minutes from Rendcomb, making visits and transition straightforward for families in the area. A dedicated minibus service is also available to support pupils and provide additional flexibility.

Why Choose St Edward’s School Cheltenham (11 to 18 years)

Families joining St Edward’s benefit from:

  • A warm, inclusive community where pupils are genuinely known and supported as individuals.
  • Small class sizes with high-quality teaching leading to GCSEs and A Levels.
  • Strong pastoral care and wellbeing support throughout the senior years.
  • A broad co-curricular programme across sport, music, drama and enrichment.
  • Personalised guidance at key transition points, including GCSE and Sixth Form pathways.

Our size is intentional. Smaller cohorts allow for individual attention, confidence-building and leadership opportunities, helping pupils feel secure, supported and ambitious about their future.
