As our Upper Sixth students start on the last leg of their journey at St Edward’s Sixth Form, our Chemistry A Level students finished their second week, building their skills and learning the competencies of their chosen subject.
This week saw them skillfully master and understand the process of making aspirin which involves using sulfuric acid and ensuring quantities are exact. It was great to see the process in action, with this practical being just one of many that will continue throughout their last year, building up to the completion of their Chemistry A Level.
