We encourage pupils to get fully involved in all aspects of School life to gain the most from all academic, extra-curricular, sporting and cultural activities on offer. As a Day School, we value especially the excellent home-school partnership we develop with our parents, which is so important in supporting your child’s learning and progress.

Our extended day, from 7:45am – 5:30pm, delivers an opportunity for pupils to immerse themselves in a range of activities and sports. From rugby and netball, to Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) and our Combined Cadet Force (CCF), as well as variety of musical and creative clubs; there is something for everyone to be involved in and enjoy.

We also offer a wide variety of trips, including skiing in France, a cultural tour of Italy and Vatican City, as well as language trips to Spain, the challenge of individual and group expeditions with DofE and CCF and World Challenge trips to places like Botswana and Ecuador.

All of these experiences help to make St Edward’s pupils independent, socially aware and conscious of their place in the wider world.
