Both Reception Classes have spent their Science lessons learning about the human body recently. They had particular fun investigating the skeleton with the help of their teachers and ‘Bob’ the skeleton. A willing volunteer from each class was used as platform onto which the bones of ‘Bob’ were placed. The children did a fantastic job finding the correct location for each one.
They have also spent time looking at models of the brain and talking about its function, listening to each other’s hearts using a stethoscope, picking action cards and completing the different challenges like standing on one leg, twisting their tongues, clapping and stamping.
What a clever bunch!
