In art, following on from their graphite mark-making experimentation, Year 6 tried their hands at depicting panoramic views of the school grounds this week. With so many beautiful vistas to choose from, the class were able to capture a range of different features in each of their pieces.

Drawing large areas such as those seen in panoramic artworks enables the children to develop a sense of scale within their drawing and tests their ability to use perspective over a wide area.
