Everyone involved has been delighted by the return of Airfix Club!

Airfix models (and models made by other companies) are fun to make and require the acquisition of certain skills.  Patience; forethought; the ability to follow instructions; dexterity and imagination.

They are relatively cheap to purchase and offer many hours of enjoyment – and at the end, they hold out the prospect of a real sense of accomplishment.

Airfix Club offers an opportunity for pupils to learn the necessary skills to produce high quality models, in a relaxed and purposeful atmosphere.

Models chosen by our students usually hold some historical significance, such as World War Two aircraft or the recently started Lunar Module. These kits often spark conversations about events throughout history with Airfix Club leader, Mr Scarboro, who also teaches History.
