Pupils across Key Stage 3 have been working on a variety of Art projects during the first week of Distance Learning.

  • Year 7 have been using insects as their source of inspiration to create some beautiful depictions of a selection of creatures.
  • Pupils in Year 8 have been experimenting with continuous line drawing. They were tasked with capturing a view from a window at home and have come up with a range of exciting studies.
  • Year 9 have been producing some follow up work, responding to photographs they took whilst on their February visit to the Pitt Rivers and Natural History Museums in Oxford.

It is wonderful to see their creativity is still in full flow, despite the unusual circumstances. We look forward to seeing what other work they produce over the next week!
