Year 4 pupils from the Prep School visited Manor Adventure in Shropshire last week, battling the elements as they participated in a wide range of fun-filled activities.
In spite of the persistent rain, they were all able to make the most of everything that Manor Adventure had to offer. From taking on the climbing wall, to having a go at fencing, archery and abseiling there was plenty for the children to get stuck into.
The group also enjoyed a very scenic hill walk, including some breathtaking scenery, waterfalls, steep rocky paths and streams with stepping stones, wooden bridges and lots of mud!
One of the most popular activities was the challenging ‘high ropes’ course which gave the Year 4s an opportunity to build their confidence, whilst working both individually and as a team. They also thoroughly enjoyed their evening activities, most notably the disco, which gave them the opportunity to demonstrate their brilliant dance moves.
The Year 4s were adventurous, independent and brave throughout their trip, showing fantastic support to each other as they courageously faced challenges and overcame some of their fears.
