Prep School pupils gathered with teachers and staff to celebrate our end of Spring Term Mass this morning, held at Sacred Hearts Church in Charlton Kings. End of Term Mass is always an important event in the St Edward’s calendar, providing an opportunity for quiet reflection on the term and all that we have learnt and achieved.

Our School Chaplain, Fr Pat O’Keeffe, led the service in which he reminded us of our responsibilities in caring for not only our friends and families, but for everyone.

As we approach the end of Lent, the messages portrayed throughout the Mass were those of sacrifice and giving to others, reflecting the sacrifice made by Jesus made over the Easter period.

Fr Pat said in his homily, “God loves us all unconditionally, and it is our job to ensure that we love not only each other, but everyone that we meet as well. Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice for us and he now lives through us in everything that we do”.
