Friday saw St Edward’s Prep School embrace Red Nose Day, wearing plenty of red and raising a lot of money for Comic Relief.

Children had been purchasing Red Noses from our Main Office for many weeks in the lead up to Friday, some even bought enough to add them to their ears!

There was an assembly in the morning that allowed the pupils to learn more about Comic Relief and where the money raised would be spent, both in the UK and abroad.

There was red everywhere with both staff and children getting fully involved in raising money for a good cause. The bake sale that took place at break was more popular than ever before with queues going out of the door!

In total the Prep School raised an astonishing £1,221 for Comic Relief, a fantastic amount that reflects the hard work and commitment that the pupils have shown during the last few weeks to help those less fortunate than themselves.
