Pre-Prep pupils had a fantastic time today as they donned their Chef’s hats and got to work to make some really delicious pizzas.
They began by patting, kneading and shaping their dough, before topping it with tomato sauce and cheese. All of the children thoroughly enjoyed working on their pizza creations and the results they achieved, albeit at the expense of a little messiness involving some flour!.
This was just one of a series of cooking classes led by our School Caterers, Holroyd Howe, over recent months, with previous bakes including gingerbread and hedgehog loaves. Through taking part in these activities our pupils are able to learn about how their food is made, what ingredients are needed and the processes involved in preparing meals.
