Pupils at the Prep School ended the first half of the Spring Term on a high note when they welcomed their families to join them for a fabulous informal concert on the last day of the half-term.

Boys and girls from Year 3 to Year 6 took to the stage, performing on a range of instruments including woodwind, string, piano, brass and percussion. The performances covered a variety of genres, from classical, to folk, musical theatre and rock. As well as many impressive solos, there were also some delightful examples of group work from the Guitar Group and the Year 4 singers.

As shown by the Senior Informal concert which took place earlier in the month, performing in front of an audience really helps our young musicians to gain confidence in their playing and singing, which in turn leads to improvement in technique. The concert provided a lovely opportunity to showcase the skills of our talented pupils to family and friends.
