Sixth Form
Our Sixth Formers benefit from quality teaching in small classes (average size: 9.5) and have their own Common Room, an 'Internet café' study room, and - just opening this Term - a new Careers Centre incorporating 'Cafe 6'. A team of Sixth Form Tutors, led by the Head of Sixth Form, provide academic guidance and pastoral care, and there is a specialist adviser on university entrance and careers. We offer 22 A-level subjects with a completely free choice of options:
| Art | Drama | Further Maths |
| Biology | English | Music |
| Business Studies | French | Music Technology |
| Chemistry | Geography | Photography |
| Classical Civilisation | German | Physical Education |
| Computing | History | Physics |
| Critical Thinking | Latin | Psychology |
| Design & Technology | Maths | Religious Studies |
There is also a programme of outside speakers on topical issues, with opportunity for discussion in weekly 'general studies' and non-exam R.E. lessons.
The Prefect system gives an opportunity to develop leadership, and all Sixth Formers undertake Community Service. The CCF, the Duke of Edinburgh Award and the Young Enterprise scheme provide teamwork and personal development. And the black-tie Sixth Form Ball is not to be missed!
