Drama Productions

Over the years, St. Edward's has built up a reputation for outstanding school plays. There are always two productions – one for senior students in March and one for Years 7-9 in the November.

Recent senior productions have included Brecht’s THE CAUCASIAN CHALK CIRCLE, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, OLIVER! and Euripides' THE TROJAN WOMEN. Our younger pupils have also had notable successes in recent years with ARABIAN NIGHTS, THE WITCHES, TOAD OF TOAD HALL and CARRIE’S WAR.

Our Main Hall, with its well-equipped stage and hired-in tiered seating for productions, makes an excellent large theatre.
